A Crayon Drawing Poem by Paula Glynn

A Crayon Drawing

My little girl has done,
A crayon drawing:
It is of her daddy and me,
And we are outside our house,
With a purple sun,
And the green grass,
Of our garden,
That is blooming,
With pink flowers,
And we all have big smiles,
A happy family,
With a new addition on the way,
And we will be,
A four member family,
And I shall treasure my family.
I love my happy home,
And I love my little girl,
Her crayon drawing,
From the heart,
And she loves school,
And has created many,
Crayon drawings,
Some are of just me,
And some are of us by the sea,
For our little girl,
Loves the seaside,
With the lapping waves,
Ice cream and sand castles,
And she is always upset,
When her daddy and I,
Tell her we have to leave,
But we find other adventures,
Which she finds exciting,
For our little girl is a star,
And every crayon drawing,
Is a work of five year old art,
Her drawings from the heart.
