A Crazy And Insane Poet

Rating: 4.7

When I am crazy and insane
as said by the critics
how can I be a poet.
I do not know
how to praise God
God has not taught me
the language of praise
and pleasant words.

I do not fear my God unseen
I have not learnt how to fear
gods on earth
who loves death
instead of life.
Who loves people of power
hoping for a reward.

I prefer chain and punishment
instead of flowers
How can I be a poet of honour
when I am with undressed
and unhonoured people.

poetry is not merely a composition but a reflection of one's thoughts... if thys is wht u think... thn i wud advice u rest for a day...for u hv tortured urself enough... believe me its futile chasing life.... stop the empty race... ponder on the deeper side of the life gifted by almighty....

Dear Devil Poet - As Gibran has said 'we dwell in the house of tomorrow.' This existence can not touch you. Like a woman who has been raped, it is the rapist that soils himself. Be who YOU were meant to be. Blessings to you - Cheryl

Mr Mazumder, this is really a fine piece of writing and I guess many poets and writers have had this sentiment of not being in tune with the world. Thanks for this poem.
