A Different Play. Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Different Play.

Rating: 5.0

The Loveless cry
Behind the scenes,
In empty theaters
Of forgotten dreams,
A life ago
They were alive
But now in loneliness
They cry, alone
Hardly survive,
Always returning
Day by day
To memories
So far away
Of love they lost
That never will
Return,
Life's theater
Empty
No place to turn
No consolation
Hallucinations,
Now take their
Turn.

I've only been to the theatre once, that's because one of our older actors, Martin Shaw, was in it and my late wife Tina had a crush on him. So I took her and she liked it.
