Welcome to this digital love of the twenty first century
On the electronic platform
Many customized profiles floats
In the same way
As in our days
Where girls nicely dressed
Appears in colleges, streets or at picnic spots.
Digitization has revolutionized the love
Now, same guys have different profiles
On different social media
Meeting of eyes has now replaced by
SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook and whatnot!
All emotions are faked by Smileys and emoji
Sitting under the trees, behind the bushes
Under the moonlight, besides the pond
All have become out of fashion now
Love letters are written on e-walls
By the voice commands or by click on buttons
Who cares about writing with blood and from the heart?
Contents are borrowed from lovers of past, using google
With all fake identities, emotions, contents
How these lovers will become immortals?
Apart from hard disk who will remember them?
This digital love has fake lovers who are killing time
The network is their point of meeting,
Mess-ups, misunderstanding and breakups
Is the ultimate of digital love.
The mode has changed yet the game is on.
Yes technology has replaced romantic candlelit meals, walks in the moonlight, dancing under the stars, drives in the countryside and a beautiful reality of love blossoming in a natural way. Now there is facebook, whatsapp, dating sites and a cold reality that is technology at its worst. Great write on twenty first century approach to dating and hopefully the natural reality of dating will come back like nature a beautiful blossoming of hearts connecting!
Twenty first century has brought up technological evolution and we have seen digital love. Meeting of eyes is replaced and social media has generated imaginary eyes. Which is fake and which is real emotion this is difficult to know. Digital love has many fake lovers and this provokes thought. Mode is changed. But still love has impact in life...10
