A Dog Skin I Wore Poem by Kostas Lagos

A Dog Skin I Wore

Rating: 5.0

I left behind me all the memories
A dog skin I wore
and an upward road I took
Scents and tastes mean nothing anymore
the whole universe's dust
in a sack with holes I bear
This burden that never goes
invisible it crushes me under a gloomy sun
I screamed again and again
and my own echo deafened my ears
This is the end, this is the beginning
This is the bright light of darkness
