A Dreamer A Poet Poem by Matthew Holloway

A Dreamer A Poet

Rating: 5.0

I was born a dreamer
I shall die a poet
There is little difference
Little change to be found
One is a hope for life
The other an expression of it
Hope, love, dreams, despair
Every facet of the human experience
Be it real or simply thought of
It is present in thought
And it is in the soul
A dream and a poem
Are well entwined

Beautiful integration, description of dreams and poetry as they become one, entwined. A very touching and far reaching poem. Loved it. To be treasured!
