A child opens up a magical fairy book,
With enchanted fables on display.
Of heroes and princesses of long ago,
And wicked witches who fly away.
Oh! And not forgetting the fairies,
Magical creatures of forest land.
Where wishes are lovingly granted,
If you give them a helping hand.
If a good child is lost in the woods,
They'll find a fairy kingdom in its glade.
And they will be softly called upon,
To view beauty so colourfully displayed.
They'll show you their silk beds,
In a glorious rainbow painted hall.
And where the fairy Queen lives,
Behind a secret silver waterfall.
They'll tell you great stories,
And sing to you loving songs.
For they know in their hearts,
A child who can do no wrongs.
Then they cast a magical spell,
That gently sends you to sleep.
And you awake in your warm bed,
With fairy secrets to forever keep.
