A Faraway Place Can Be Home
A faraway place can be home
It's where you gain mementos
Meals on one table, small talk
On scenes, next destinations
How was the food, the soft bed
Was water hot in the shower
Mundane things can be tackled
Fishing for fish, feeding monkeys
They bite you anywhere, same deal
Yet when there's new experience
New food to share, all becomes
Surreal, chance of a lifetime, travel
I find the first line of the poem very captivating: A far away place can be home.
The next lines just as well, Ozasee, that's why I placed the lines so close together. Thank you for visiting and enjoying the view and perspective. :)
