A Faraway Place Can Be Home Poem by Doris Cornago

A Faraway Place Can Be Home

Rating: 5.0

A faraway place can be home
It's where you gain mementos
Meals on one table, small talk
On scenes, next destinations
How was the food, the soft bed
Was water hot in the shower
Mundane things can be tackled
Fishing for fish, feeding monkeys
They bite you anywhere, same deal
Yet when there's new experience
New food to share, all becomes
Surreal, chance of a lifetime, travel

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
One can be at home anywhere as long as he has by his side someone most important to him. As they say, home is where the heart is. As travel is so enriching, I recommend it for families to travel and grow in the knowledge of the world and each other. The warmth and comfort of home are felt anywhere when you surround yourself with love/loved ones.

The next lines just as well, Ozasee, that's why I placed the lines so close together. Thank you for visiting and enjoying the view and perspective. :)
