More than two decades ago,
A cry was heard in the hospital
A soft loud cry; it made everyone happy.
An angel was born.
And gifts were sent; with messages-
Of gratitude and congratulations; plus a
Bouquet of flowers along –to make the
Greeting cards lovely and live.
More than two decades later,
A cry was heard at home,
A silent painful cry; it hurt everyone.
A parent just died.
And condolences were sent; with messages
Of hope and sympathy; plus a
Wreath of flowers along - to make the
Sympathy messages sink and live on.
In between life; sometimes-
A groan was heard; at home-in hospital,
A hurting groan- it made everyone pale.
Our own was sick.
And hope was sent; with messages-
Of prayer and great health-plus a
Basket of flowers along- to liven the dull
Room and leave a beautiful fragrance in.
In between life; sometimes-
A giggle was heard; at home-at work,
A cheerful sweet giggle-it made everyone smile.
A goal has been achieved.
And presents were sent; with messages-
Of thanksgiving and prosperity-plus a
Bouquet of flowers along- to be felt; of
How life is beautiful and cheerful-and can change, just
Like the beauty of the flower!
How life is beautiful and cheerful-and can change, just Like the beauty of the flower! like these lines.. you began with the birth of the angel and the happiness then the death of the parent and the sadness. Then you spoke of hope and the joy of a goal achieved. thank you for your presentation. you are so young. please write and write. do not stop.
Thanks a lot Dr. Tony for taking your time to read and for your thoughts. I will not stop. Appreciated!
