A Flying Moth Poem by Luo Zhihai

A Flying Moth

A Flying Moth
(Two Pairs of Couplets●Seven Words of Quatrain)

Yellow orioles cry in the willows to urge the new green
Purple swallows bite the mud to reinforce the old nest
A flying moth darts into the fire, the pure fate
Stand by a tree stump waiting for a hare, always in vain
