A Fortnight In Gran Canaria (In English)

no country to be visited
in our Dutch third Lock-Down episode,
just a fortnight during last year's
post volcanic shout-outs
in loveliest
Gran Canaria's work-outs,

such greatest fun and pleasure we've had
but in Las Palmas
a prohibited area
from greenest grass
till deep sea-blue waters trash
too poisonous to swim or breathe the air,
but where we've
been and slept,
no one has wept
the air could be kissed, the greatest pleasure
the water turns into a treasure
just wanna tell ye

despite Dutch third Lock-Down
we need not cry nor frown
I kneel down
thank our God:
dear Lord, we had reaped as we have sown,
thank you for the love, the peace, the ease,

we believe that
all things are possible
as long as we have You closest,
thank you, dear God
