The sky was oh, so beautiful that
I wish you could have watched with me
Brilliant and breathtaking colors
Exciting for the whole world to see
It was orange with streaks of dark
As clouds came rolling in
And then you should have seen
How a windmill gave such a spin
Swirls and twirls of daffodil yellow
Intertwined with the orange too
I captured it the best I could
To send it straight out to you
And then I saw a Teddy Bear
It was as plain as plain could be
Moving softly before me
Was the dark branch of a tree
Fence posts, dark as well
Added to the mystery of the sky
I’d never seen anything like it
And it made me want to cry
Of all the problems that we face
Seeing colors in the sky as they dance
Just makes you stop and realize
There’s always a fresh new chance

I shall run out the words of praise faster than you run out of imagination your poems about sky and days signify almost a reincarnation....
