A Good Samaritan Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

A Good Samaritan

Beside the busy road
A dog was crying bitterly in pain,
As it was cruelly hit in one of its legs by an unknown name,
The people were carelessly passing by,
Their ruthless heart could never cry.
A pale beggar came forward lovingly to rescue the animal from the other tyrants,
He nursed its oozy wounds sympathetically,
Soon the poor creature forgot its moan,
They became known to each other
And friends to one another.
