A Great Beauty Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The girl was alone in the lonely platform
And sleeping on a chair in its peaceful bosom,
With her inexplicable beauty
She resembled the heavenly maiden.
She had the smiling face with soft eyes,
Her rosy lips and beautiful locks were the real prize.
Sitting on a front bench as I gazed at her,
I became motionless and still,
I could not remove my eyes from the celestial beauty.
What a delightful moment it was!
Immediately I was lost in that world,
Only the perfect hand of God can create such a lovely class,
She was justly fabulous.
All of a sudden the girl woke up and began to walk outside the platform,
I stared at her as long as I could see her
And then giving a sigh of relief I went away in a trance.
