Million arrows grazed me: A hound when killed the kitten.
A sudden thud I heard and the canine had proved its word.
Immediate hue and cry backed but alas! the kitten alone in hounds dark cavern.
A far sight caught my attention, the hanging creature rocking down the hounds bloody jaw.
None of our intelligence could save the unfortunate.
This helplessness on my part would kill me every day a thousand deaths until I depart.
Only a heart that feels pain for others too can have such a kind and caring thought.. Beautiful poem written by an extremely beautiful heart...
Beautiful poem.....guilt kills from inside every momen of our life....thanx for sharing :)
The poet feels guilty for not being able to save the innocent kitten from the clutches of the hound.Only a person with conscience feels guilty when he sees that he has not done enough and more effort on his part could have brought about a desirable change. He curses his helplessness or his inability to do the right action. He is full of remorse.- - - - - - But we should all realize that we all have our physical and intellectual limitations. We can not control all factors that are happening around us.We try our best, give our best effort to bring the change. We should not feel guilty for not being able to bring that desired change.Rather we should keep trying. The poem reflects a sympathetic heart of the poet.
This helplessness on my part would kill me every day a thousand deaths until I depart. Reading this line makes me live the situation and say, It's really painful Thanks Muhammad

I would like to translate this poem
I can feel your helplessness and panic, then finally remorse. Though we may have more intelligence than the hound, would we have the strength to stand up against him to save the kitten? Our common sense dictates our actions and reactions to everything happening in life. Guilt is not always justified. Sometimes we punish ourselves for things that are beyond our control. And finally, we are human beings with frailties and we do make mistakes sometimes. We cannot let this stop us. We must learn from past mistakes and keep going and try not to repeat them. Well done on this thought-provoking poem.
thanks for the appreciation
