A Happy New-Year To All
the year end
is in a nostalgic mood.,
where the old year
is covered with a shroud..
many joys and heartbreaks,
we are through,
let us look forward
to something new.
the new era begins with
a winking at time,
as day breaks,
and the new sun shines.
forget the past,
forget the pain,
let the new year
not make us vain.
cautiously we step,
and begin the year,
with a quickening of heart,
and a thump in the chest,
the new -year is here,
with gods blessings,
hope it will be the best
