The bells of heaven are calling us
To join a final pilgrimage this day
From across the ocean and desert waste
With incentives and encouragement to stay.

Our journey leads to far away Heaven
Where in a large, elaborate hall,
A distinguished person in a robe
Greets us - one and all.

The angelic choir in the sky
Join with the bells in spiritual song,
Look down intermittently in awe
Upon the gathered throng.

The Almighty smiles at us,
And the angels immediately step aside,
That we may enter the pearly gate
Where peace, love, and goodwill abide.

Oh! magnificent bells of heaven,
Ring out your tidings of forgiveness,
Proclaim to all nations of the world,
That the struggle for peace will never cease.
