It is paining me
It is pulling me
And also reminding me
An invisible rope
Rooted in a pair of eyes
Indeed secret there lies
It's paining
It's reeling
On and on....
Again in the same spiral
A question
Hangs between us
We are fallen words in air
It's crushing
It's killing
Flowing like
Some slow poison
Never felt this heat
No such scars deep
It's falling me
It's blinding me
It's failing me
My courage is breaking down
It is squeezing my left ego
It's boiling inside
It's pinning me deep
It's a counting backward
It's a silent suicide
your ink made me empathize the pain of killing.............................simple yet superb...............liked it

'An invisible rope Rooted in a pair of eyes Indeed secret there lies' Interesting lines.... Can I ask you something? ? Is this about the 'male gaze'? ? I have a strange hunch that it is about it... Either ways, once again, it's pleasantly surprising to find someone (from India in particular) writing poems that are very much against the androcentric canon... Thank you Soumita.. Keep penning the poems.. Keep deconstructing the 'status quo' here.. Love your poems...
Yes Souren ji..its about male gaze......a trap a woman creates sometimes knowingly or unknowingly
