A Legal Question Poem by Tom Billsborough

A Legal Question

A LEGAL QUESTION

Are there any injuries
In Juries
When, once in a while,
They fail
To reach a verdict?
I predict
A riot as the song goes.
Who knows?
Maybe the brave nine
Cause mayhem
When the cowardly swine,
The three,
Say "Not Guilty".

This could be a whole new discipline of poetry about the shortcomings of our legal system. There's probably a Bible waiting to be written on this one.

The Law is a rich comic field.. As for the Bible that 25% Murder rate at the start is awesome and the story of Lot and his daughters is a real rib-tickler.
