A Lesson From The Heart Poem by Bonnie Collins

A Lesson From The Heart

Rating: 4.0

Wandering alone in this empty
forest of darkness, stumbling
and falling as I go wondering
if the darkness now will be
the end of its pyramid or only
a shadow of its existence

Funny, how many many times
I would follow your heart, never
questioning its intent or even
doubting its integrity

Your soul did its job, it took me
for a wonderous journey, it took
me to avenues beyond the heart's
imagnation

If I had to thank you for anything
it would have to be for teaching
me how to love, and how to forgive
And how to know sometimes, True
Love can be a lesson from the heart.......

I enjoyed this poem. It reveals that you know the art of poetry very well. It out pors your heart. And your soul is my soul, so it is universal and vistas vast and varied but all in one. There is unity even in diversity. True love really flows from the heart and perverted mind often vitiates it. Forgiveness is the virtue that flows from heart and sustains and strengthens love. If I had to thank you for anything it would have to be for teaching me how to love, and how to forgive And how to know sometimes, True Love can be a lesson from the heart....... Thank you for sharing this beautiful thought.
