A Lesson Learnt From A Writing Legacy Poem by Shaun Cronick

A Lesson Learnt From A Writing Legacy

Rating: 3.8

If there's one lesson to be learnt from poetry,
It is that a flock of great and good modern poets,
All pale into insignificance.
When compared to the writing legacy of William Shakespeare.

Thanks Dominic and I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. And thanks for that Titus Andronicus too, or should I say ten good sir!

Having read and watched performances of over 25 of Shakespeare's wonderful plays, and read many of his profound, pristine poems, I have to agree with you Shaun. The Immortal Bard was certainly a master of language and his insights into the human condition are second to none. i just wish some of my students would appreciate his work more! Anyway, it's a Titus Andronicus inspired ten from me!
