Just a change in temperature,
In poetry it means a lot.
Between choosing to write,
Or simply losing the plot.
Just a few degree's cooler,
Than it has been of late.
Gets my imagination fired up,
Also my poetry heart rate.
Thank heavens for the change,
The weather can be unforgiving.
A simple harsh fact of life
But a life well worth living.
Thanks for your comment Dominic and truth be told I wouldn't mind visiting Antarctica and visiting or hopefully climb Ulvetanna Peak no matter how cold it is.
I wholeheartedly agree with you Shaun. One of the things I like most about England is it's infinite variety of weather..I love the changing of seasons...always inspires my poetry. My poetess frriend in America lives in San Francisco Bay, California...it always seems to be hot and sunny..no variation...so don't worry this heat wave will soon pass. It's a torrid 10 from me!
A very lovely poem. A very astute observation on facts of life So true. Life entails changes from time to time So many intricacies but still life is a gift and well worth living. Beautifully penned and well conveyed as always.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
