Everyone needs affection
Whether admitted or not
Even domestic animals
Crave it
So why deny its vital must?
Without love, living
Is hollow, shallow
Never will tall Redwoods
Reach the stars,
Nor will dreams sail the Seas
That even now, seem so far.

Love and affection is a human need. Who can forget those stories of babies given no love. Poetry has within its powers to show what flowers with love and affection. A wonderful reminder. Thank you Sandra.
