A Long Lost Friend? Poem by Kavya .

A Long Lost Friend?

Rating: 5.0

A total stranger, A silent worker
Your presence never did bother

Hardly seen some where farther
A very calm and distinct person rather

Our paths crossed hardly once in a calendar
Then it was a forgotten moment altogether

The day finally came and we did not deter
Alas! the lost identities went a step further

You somehow seemed like a long lost brother
The best thing we felt was the comfort factor

Our talks then went for nothing less than an hour
As if we had for long known each other

Am glad to have found you my honor
I wish you success in every path you venture

Thank you for finding in me a friend
May you find happiness in every moment you spend......

A friend who is like a good brother is a rarity these days. Your simple poem, well-rhymed, is truly a great write.

Life in its all variety has its surprising and shocking experience. Friendship is the finest flower in the garden of human life.. A fine write. Sorry Kavya, I was away from the PH for long.... Shall try to moderately stay on henceforth..

This reflects the beauty of life. Friendships and link-ups with some of the most improbable ones becomes a lasting and satisfying experience. This lovely poem has a universal appeal. Thanks,
