A Love Letter Poem by Paul Sebastian

A Love Letter

Rating: 5.0

Dear Darling

Meeting you was a divine purpose
To know you was choice I made
To love is a decision; to love you, I chose
To Journey together was our take

My morning breaks with your wake
Your greeting smile is my sunshine
With your love-kiss, my soul awakes
Your prayers incense, earthly divine

Your absence gnaws cruel emptiness
My forlorn soul pines, longing for you
My separated soul suffers restlessness
Hungering to be love-cradled, fed by you

Come, bring back summer to my winter soul
My arms hunger your hugs, warmth of your breasts
Lie beside me in love-garden, we'll hug and roll
Lying there, let our souls unite, our hearts caress

I wait for your sojourn's end, to come back
Never mind dragging hours and days
Never mind days into months stack
My soul waits patiently your embrace

Come back, darling, come! I wait

Your life's love,

Longing Soul

Beautiful! Love doesn't make the world go 'round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile!
