A Love Poem
I feel the light of love
shining in my eyes,
the sweet perfume of romance
intoxicates me
and I hear the joyous call
of church bells ringing in my ears.
I see my angel dressed in white
stepping out of a dream to me.
Happiness decorates the path
that we walk along
and smiles beam from our faces.
Our future is now sown up
in love’s little band of gold.
