A Lover's Quarrel Poem by Laquory Jones

A Lover's Quarrel

Verse 1
Two lovers in a lover's quarrel
Realizing it's not a perfect world while
People are slowly losing their close interactions
And divorces are gaining more traction
Richie, tell me what's happening?
Well, we started head on with the head rush
First when we started it was all love
But as time passed and we as a people tend
To forget that love is not quite enough
And when hearts want to leave
Do we set them free?
Well if they return then that's how
We'll know if they were truly meant to be
So that's what you're telling me?

Verse 2
I look into your eyes and all I see is the
Pain from deep inside it seems though at
Times you want to cry when you get those
Kind of vibes I just want to let you know
That I've never felt more so alive
With you by my side
And if loving you is a crime
Then I don't ever want to be right

Chorus
Hot melted kisses bittersweet
Beads of sweat running so heavily
Deep penning our love so eloquently
Lets go ahead and take that trip to Italy
Settle ourselves deep down into Venice
I heard Paris is quite unique
Come with me
Viens avec moi chérie (oh my darling)

Verse 3
Love makes you do things beyond
Belief it's a lesson that I've learned
First-hand but lets go down to tiffany's
Go ahead and pick out your bracelets
Necklaces and wedding rings
Just know that I love you with all my
Being as I bend down on one knee
Tell me that you will marry me?
Veux-tu m'épouser as they say in France

Chorus
Hot melted kisses bittersweet
Beads of sweat running so heavily
Deep penning our love so eloquently
Lets go ahead and take that trip to Italy
Settle ourselves deep down into Venice
I heard Paris is quite unique
Come with me
Viens avec moi chérie (oh my darling)
