A Loyal Companion Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

A Loyal Companion

Rating: 5.0

Come now, my dear, and console my soul,
The darkness of night is now here.
Take my trembling hand and chase away
Those nocturnal creatures of fear.

Don't let me walk in the darkness alone?
Cling to me tightly, close and near.
Comfort me, hearthrob of my life,
My loyal companion, sweet and dear.
