A Man And His Pussycat Poem by Dorsey Baker

A Man And His Pussycat

Soft and
silky smooth
she lies in his lap
jumps up and down
upon his fluffy bed
willingly
she accepts!
and smokes his
big corn cob pipe
and afterwards
he eats her ice cream
then makes with him
funny faces
in the mirror
she gives him energy
and takes away from him
energy
they breathe
each others breath
he gives her a bone
and she
gives him a piece of fish
and they
tell the story
their coming together
is a mystery!
