A Moral Crisis In The Philippines Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

A Moral Crisis In The Philippines

Rating: 5.0

When a people so blind and dumb
Vote for a confessed psycho-killer,
Their country to shame will succumb
For a moral crisis takes root there.

When a people cannot see what's evil,
They agree to the dark whims and fancy
Of this tyrant who kills men at will-
That spells the death of democracy!

The Philippines has tons of religion,
Yet its people can't see right from wrong.
When wrong is made right, then destruction
Is the fate to where they belong!

When people are in a moral crisis,
They have put on themselves a curse.
Evil reigns and there is no peace
And their land goes from bad to worse!
