A Morsel For You Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

A Morsel For You

Nestled in the hedgerows,
At night you rest awhile,
Your morning chorus greets me,
Your presence makes me smile,
Eating every morsel,
Of food that's left for you,
You are there each morning,
Like the glistening dew,
Gentle little creatures,
Natures precious birds,
I thank you for your company,
Your song I love to hear.
