A Mothers Advice Poem by Josey Alfred

A Mothers Advice

A child with conscious clean as snow!
Smiling to Mom lying in lap
Pleading softly to help preserve,
And be allowed to dwell in peace.

Meanwhile you dig your selfish mind,
As how to bestow freedom unbound,
To little babe, now fast asleep,
To make her fit to conquer world.

Oh, Mom, you know it is selfish!
As well, will hurt a thousand hearts!
Yet you don't mind, she must acquire
The skill to conquer all those oppose.

Proclaims she, that in war and love!
Deceit! A potent weapon to win,
So use it as ever in marriage as well,
And groom should never, trespass your path.

You keep track of his mail and calls!
And remind often, he is your life,
And warn him, someone may trap him in love
And will wretch him from you, for ever.

Pamper him, with your love, lavish!
Induce yet yield not, to have sex.
Keep it reserved, to extract demands.
And keep him bound for ever a pet.
