Her lungs ache
from being so close
to her flaming heart
her breath comes
in short gasps
she's scared, , so scared, ,
Nothing else has ever felt so right
but is she willing
to let go of everything
for this hand she barely knows
to release:
any feelings
she's ever felt
for anyone else
to risk dropping
her now so predictable, , stable life
for the unknown...
anything could happen
perfection
or
destruction
So she chooses

And prays.....
