A Peck Poem by Siyabonga A Nxumalo

A Peck

So
Sincere,
Cordial,
Phenomenal.

A peck from a blackrose,
With lips so
Warm,
Tender,
Serene.

A peck from The Empress,
Begins my day with blessings
From the goddess,
Blessings inherited from
The Afrikan soil.

Chocolate brown skin,
Beautiful like her eyes,
Clear as Okavango river, and
Majestic as White Nile.

A peck from a blackrose
So
Sincere,
Cordial, and
Phenomenal.

Soft and gentle hands,
Warm and melodic voice
Echoes in my ears.

Felt her heart bit,
From her warm bosom.

Enchanting lips dances
When The Queen speaks.

Ravishing blackrose,
Pure as Victoria Falls, and
Clear as Zambezi River waters.

A Queen to the King,
A blackrose,
Golden and unique.
