A Perfect World Poem by Ima Ryma

A Perfect World

Rating: 5.0

In the beginning God did make
A perfect world - land, water, air.
And animals and plants did take
Perfect time and place ev'rywhere.
Then God created humankind.
Unknown are reasons God did this,
Perhaps some sort of lapse of mind,
Cuz that ended all perfect bliss.
To err is human on and on,
And to forgive is divine, so
God's forgiving phenomenon
May not have much time left to go.

A perfect world, not just a guess,
When God makes the world humanless.
