Within thy floral album cousin I see,
Flowers that I know, and that are dear to me -
But one I miss - in vain for it I've sought,
It is my favorite, sweet forget-me-not.
Yes little flower, I love thy simple grace,
I love thy leaves, I love thy pale blue face-
Cousin, to thee, whate'er shall be thy lot,
Apply it's name to me - 'Forget me not'.
