A Portrait Of Beauty Poem by Matthew Holloway

A Portrait Of Beauty

A portrait of beauty
In a gallery of unsurpassed beauty
Looks out unto the world
Eyes hauntingly beautiful
Skin fair and lip's petal like
Blossom and bloom
And to love, to love, to love
The soul does beckon
To kiss and to hold against
A heart to a heart, beats in sync
Stolen breath, pulse held once more
The gallery, the artists greatest works
And you amongst the very finest
A private gallery as it were
La vision of a muse
A beauteous rendition
A reflection of such beauty
A portrait in a gallery
Imprisons, captivates, holds me
