A Pot Of Gold Poem by David Harris

A Pot Of Gold

Many times we sit
on a rainbow’s end
never realising the pot of gold
that may lie there.

When people talk of a pot of gold
most think of shiny coins,
but a pot of gold means
anything our hearts desire.

It could be love
or the quiet times our lives need.
To a writer that much needed muse,
an artist the longed for great vision.

A pot of gold is not always coins,
but much more than that.
It is the dreams we all
aspire to come true.
