A Question Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

A Question

Rating: 4.3

Am I going to die with
My dreams unrealized
With memory of you in
My heart rotting like a
Fallen leaf on the soil
Am I going to die like
A meteor half way to
Its blessed union
Will you forever remain
A distant dream and me
A bird with parched
Throat waiting for rain
Am I be ever blessed
With the flower of your
Love and live drugged
With its ever fresh aroma
I don't know
I am getting pulled to
The cell where your
Memory will be eaten
Away by hungry ants

Such questions don't often get answers till the point your lines pierce the one you write for. Good
