A Reply
First experience may be bloody and painful,
For honey, repeated efforts make it gainful,
Used to with him, bees,
Welcome him on the trees,
The dog, too, is no more disdainful.
Reply for a reply True, dogs and bees are harmless But if men treat them heartless They turn spiteful And become wrathful Sure they'll react to our brashness! Akhtar ji you have become a master of limericks now.........! Thanks for the interesting share! (

This is quite like 'Shikwa & Jawab-e-Shikwa' (with apologies from Allama Iqbal) . Both the limericks are very humorous. Enjoyed both of them. Thanks.

Great limericks. Enjoyed them both. Thank you Akhtar Ji. It is like attending a Mushaira or Kawaali's Jawab Talab. As for man's sad plight...the attraction of bees would always be there. Some risk takers will always be there. Thanks for sharing. So nice to read today couple of yours and Valsa's poems.
