You are not near me
Still I can feel your presence
I can see in my mind eyes how
With an amazing grace your eyes dance

You are far away
And I can feel you by my side
I can get the fragrance of your
Dense hair as if you are my new bride

You have gone far to
A land of much wealth and joy
Leaving sweet memories of
Gone days for me to cherish and destroy

And you won't return
I know for you can't ever feel
The pain of the deep scar you
Gave to my heart and it is difficult to heal
