I didn’t have an evil thought up my sleeve
‘Cause I loved that gal like you wouldn’t believe.
Said she got nothin’ and she wanted more
And she just had to even up the score.
She treated me bad and made me sad
When she’d throw me a bone, I’d be so glad.
Guess I was her slave but I know I tried
And I was sorry as hell on the day she died.
I really regret that time that I saw red
When she told me she’d taken my friend to bed.
Well, that’s the sad story of my life
I didn’t mean to but I killed my wife.
Guess she had it comin’ but crime don’t pay
And a bunch of cops came and hauled me away.
Locked me in a dungeon way down deep
Then gave me a lethal injection and put me to sleep.
That was my ending so tune out my station
See you next time around at my reincarnation.
As usual a twist in the tale! A funny but, sad story indeed. Angel

Fantastic tale in excellently written rhyme and verse, something like my favorite David Lewis Paget's narratives.
