A Sadness Of Loss Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

A Sadness Of Loss

Mind doing the backstroke while swimming across
the surface of an evening ocean, stars twinkling
their good nights upon earth.

A bright full moon's rays falling gently like a
child's tears at having lost their best friends
and not knowing why.

No longer seeing them through the years, missing
each one, a feeling of sadness and loss always
now in a picturesque mind.
