At times,
I feel abandoned
Lord.
After a while,
There
Is s shift in perception:
When
My son
On hearing me,
Crying
At midnight,
Comes rushing
With concern
In his eyes.
And holds me
Tight,
I realise you
Are by my side.
Then I wonder,
How could
I be so blind.
With my faith restored,
That you are
Always there,
I just
Have to be aware.
what a way to remember God! ...true and sincere words...straight from a mind thinking pure...
May the good Lord forgive us when we doubt. I enjoyed this inspirational poem, good work. Loyd
Mamta your revelation of the faith-strands in such a simple and lucid manner makes you an outstanding poetess. Great...
Perceptions Protect Perceptions Preach Perceptions Prove Yes...dear poet, the more strong we are With our perceptions The reasons for those tears, depart. I love the way you portray The strength of one's perceptions. In your style of simplicity. Thank you.

this is such a lovely poem that i think everyone can relate to themselves. at times we forget that God is there but if we look hard enough we will find him all around us.and children are his greatest blessings.
