A Simple Thing Poem by David Harris

A Simple Thing

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes it’s a simple things
that brings the most pleasure there.
A little, treat for someone
of whom you really care.
A smile to a stranger
you may meet on your way.
That smile might
just make their day.
It’s the simple things
we take for granted
that bring the biggest joy.
The simple things
that lights up a face
that sorrow has stained.
So remember
a simple thing like a smile
can turn a frown upside down.

I love this one....sometimes we get caught up in the 'rat race' and we forget to stop and take a breath....slow down and appreciate the little things
