A Slow Goodbye Poem by Lost Sierra

A Slow Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

you were in my life for such a long time.
We had an aboundent amout of laughs, fights, disagreements, (etc) .
I had the greatest amount of respect for you.
You were like super women - I admired you.

Over time I slowly lost respect.
Your ways changed as well as my own.
I thought you were going to be in my life and on my side for a long time;
I guess I was wrong.

We don't have time to settle our problems
so we steadly distance ourselves from one another.
From friends to acquaintances; soon to be strangers
without a single goodbye.

I really enjoy this poem and many of your other works. I feel you are reading from my own heart and mind.
