From where I sat,
It felt real
For a while
From where I stood,
It felt pure
Your smile
From where I thought.
It felt good
Your grin
From where I felt,
It was joy
Deep within
But as your smile held hidden agenda
Mine got sent back marked 'Return to sender'
irony with a genuine agenda , really nice. i, myself use to recieve such smiles, and i too use to give such smiles
Most of the comments I read about your Agenda poem were too absurd to accept as much more than hoaxes. Poets are really crazy, and hold no hope for any agenda but saving themselves with psychiatry's aid.
Sadness! Something I felt one two many times. Remember the greatest love you can find is you self.
Loved it, loved it, loved it! Format was Brilliant. O course I can’t top it, but try mine – Indebted – Adeline
another hot verse......false smiles, you never know where you are with them
