A Special Treat Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

A Special Treat

Rating: 5.0

Morning breeze so freely blows,
Blackbird flies to seek for food,
Within it's nest his fledglings grow,
He's in his favourite springtime mood.
The sky is grey,
His song is heard,
His morning sound a special treat,
He flies with force,
A boisterous bird,
I watch him from my favourite seat.
Through my window there is life,
It's cycle changes every day,
It makes my world feel calm and bright,
Nature has that special way.
