A Sweet Tooth Poem by Paula Glynn

A Sweet Tooth

Rating: 5.0

He calls me his candy girl,
And says he has a sweet tooth,
For I am the birthday girl,
That is too sweet to be used,
And he kisses me,
With kisses so sweet,
For he knows how to move me,
He says I make him high,
And I feel maxed out on bliss,
That I am going to die,
I don't want to be out of here,
But I don't want to be trapped,
Yet I want him to stay,
But I ask him to stop anyway,
But he doesn't,
As I see the minutes ticking by,
Knowing he doesn't use me,
For his own gain,
And I still want him,
And even though it is pouring rain,
I don't want to be out in the cold,
To get soaked and drenched,
And I feel I have no choice,
But to do his bidding,
My emotions not pushing him away,
Keeping him near,
In spite of a strange tingling fear,
And he finds me sweet,
For I am his weakness.
