A Sweet Tooth: Edited Version Poem by Paula Glynn

A Sweet Tooth: Edited Version

He calls me his Candy Girl
And says he has a sweet tooth
For I am the birthday girl
That is too sweet to be used
And he is a man too attractive to be refused
His looks unique, his looks so chic

And he repeatedly kisses me
With kisses so sweet
For he knows how to move me
He says I make him high
And I feel maxed out on bliss
That I feel like I am going to happily die

I don't want to be out of here
But I also don't want to be trapped
Yet I want him to have me and to stay
And his love he does never give away
And I'd never ask him to stop: him I do not ignore
His sweet kisses making me want him even more

As I see the minutes ticking by
Knowing he doesn't use me
For his own selfish gain
And I still want him body and soul
I want his affection and love
I want bliss: heaven from above

And outside it is pouring rain
I don't want to be out in the cold
To get soaked and drenched
I'd rather be here: in his apartment
In the warmth of his arms
With all his gracious charms

And I feel I have little choice
But I do his bidding
My body and soul
Under his command and control
My body and soul
Wanting his delicious touch

My emotions not pushing him away
Keeping him near
In spite of a strange fear
For I am his Candy Girl
And he finds me temptingly sweet
For I am his weakness.
